7. Cookies

The website uses cookies. These fall into two categories:

Strictly necessary cookies, required for the website to function properly. They do not require your consent.

Audience-measurement cookies, set by Google Analytics to analyse traffic and improve the website. These cookies are only set once you have given your consent.

On your first visit, a cookie management banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, with both options presented at the same level. No audience-measurement cookie is set until you have consented. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie management link in the footer.

Your consent choice is stored for six months; after that period, the banner will be shown to you again.

The main cookies that may be set are as follows:

  • _ga (Google Analytics): distinguishes visitors. Lifespan: 13 months.
  • _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): maintains session state. Lifespan: 13 months.
  • Consent cookie (Consent Pro): stores your consent choice. Lifespan: 6 months.

This list will be completed, where applicable, following a scan run on the live website, to reflect all cookies actually set.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. Any changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. We encourage you to review it regularly.
